Recycled Content in Natural Slab and Tile

Green construction is one of the biggest trends in residential and commercial building design. But it’s more than a trend – it’s a way of life that benefits everyone. Many people wonder if slab and tile are considered environmentally friendly choices. The answer is yes!

Using products that are durable and long-lasting, like natural stone slabs and tiles made of natural stone, don’t need to be replaced often, therefore resulting in less waste over time – less production waste and less landfill waste. It’s a smart choice. Arizona Tile offers over 230 varieties of natural stone slabs and tiles consisting of granite, marble, limestone, travertine, slate, quartzite and onyx.

While natural stone slabs and tiles don’t contain recycled materials, many other choices in slab and tile  do use pre-consumer and post-consumer recycling in the manufacturing process. Though most of our green products contain pre-consumer recycled materials, a few are made with both pre- and post-consumer recycled content.
