Giallo Fiorito

Stone Type:

Granite

Sizes/Thickness:

3/4" (2cm slab)
1-1/4" (3cm slab)

Origin:

Espirito Santo, Brazil

Finish:

Polished

Giallo Fiorito is quarried in the state of Espirito Santo, Brazil from a boulder quarry where boulders the size of large buildings are cut into blocks and transformed into slabs. There are many quarries of Giallo Fiorito, but we focus all of our purchases from the only quarry that supplies material with a gold tone. During the polishing process, an epoxy resin is applied to the surface of the stone to fill in any natural pits, cracks or fissures that may exist. This does not affect the durability, maintenance or beauty of the stone. It is possible for some of the more minute pits that are too small to effectively hold the resin, to reopen during other finishing stages. However, this will not detract from the overall quality or appearance of the stone. There will be noticeable variations in color and movement between pieces. Therefore, it is important and recommended that a range of this product be viewed before finalizing a purchase. As a natural stone product, it is recommended that it be sealed to extend its longevity.

This granite is also known as Casino Royale or Giallo Veneziano Fiorito.
