Giallo Veneziano is quarried in a bedrock quarry that is located in the Northern region of the state of Espirito Santo, Brazil, near the small town of Nova Venezia, from which the granite takes its name. Currently, this quarry is one of the largest in existence in Brazil. The quarry produces more than three hundred truckloads of granite per month. Current research shows the quarry contains five hundred years’ worth of Giallo Veneziano available, to quarry, at present rate of production. Giallo Veneziano was one of the first gold granites introduced in the United States back in the late 1970’s. The color tone has changed over the years as the mountain has shrunk. There can be some movement and veining in this granite; also Giallo Veneziano is one of the few granites that does not need a surface resin, because of this there may be some pitting or dull spots in this product. As a natural stone product, it is recommended that it be sealed to extend its longevity.

This granite is also known as Cinnamon Sand.
