Calacatta Arc

Calacatta Arc is quarried in a bedrock quarry. It has a creamy background which is interspersed with gold, taupe and grey veining. This coloration is highly desired as it looks equally beautiful with both warm and cool color palettes. This is a metamorphic stone which evolved from a sandstone due to extreme heat and pressure. Piece to piece variation in shade or color are inherent in all natural stone products; therefore, when installing natural stone tile, it is recommended to mix tiles from several boxes at a time during installation to achieve the best range of color. When installing white marble, you must use a white thinset. Using grey thinset will leave trowel lines and could stain the marble. As natural stone products, it is recommended that these be sealed to extend their longevity.
