DCOF Rating (See Tech Specs Tab) is a measurement of a tiles frictional resistance. It is the specifier’s responsibility to ensure the chosen tile is appropriate for each interior and exterior application.
The Anthology series is an Italian-made rectified through-body porcelain available in a stunning four color, two finish collection that includes the R11 Anti-Slip Finish. Created using digital print technology, Anthology is a calibrated fusion of numerous natural stone materials giving this product a gorgeous depth and color range.
All of the colors in the Anthology series encapsulate new and original mineral forms, celebrating the charm and unpredictable beauty of nature. However, unlike other tile series, each color within this line features unique patterning and detail that are specific to each color.
The anthology features PROTECT® technology, which makes it easy to sanitize and eliminates up to 99.9% of bacteria. Besides being beautiful and remarkably resistant, PROTECT® surfaces have been crafted with Microban®, a proven antimicrobial product protection technology developed by the world leader in the sector. Integrated during the manufacturing stage, Microban® helps fight the growth of degrading bacteria on the surface of the tile for its expected lifetime. The result is a surface that stays cleaner and fresher in between cleans. It is also inherently more durable and unalterable by climate conditions.
Piece to piece variation in shade or color are inherent in all fired clay products; therefore, it is recommended to mix tiles from several boxes at a time during installation to achieve the best range of color. When mixing sizes within a series, shade, texture, and calibration differences should be expected. This series is suitable for residential and commercial applications. Because this material is a porcelain product, minimal maintenance is required.
For proper bonding, LFT/LHT mortar for large format and heavy tiles should be used when installing tiles with a dimensional length greater than 15 inches, and rectangular shape and plank tile, per industry standards. Proper thinset coverage is also necessary, and in some cases, back buttering of tile may be required.
