Honey is quarried near the city of Denizli, Turkey. This is a sedimentary stone that is formed in hot springs and is composed of calcite calcium carbonate. All travertine stones will have natural cavities, or pits, visible in the stone that developed when carbon dioxide bubbles became trapped during the formation of the stone. As an unfilled travertine, the pits will remain visible and unfilled until they are filled with grout during installation.  Due to the nature of the tumbled finish, a stone-enhancing sealer will help to accentuate the natural colors in the stone that may be subdued after going through the tumbling process.

Piece to piece variation in shade or color are inherent in all natural stone products; therefore, when installing natural stone tile, it is recommended to mix tiles from several boxes at a time during installation to achieve the best range of color. As natural stone products, it is recommended that these be sealed to extend their longevity.

Please note: The above sample of the Lyon pattern is not intended to be used as an installation tool. Please consult your local showroom for a product pattern sheet.
