Regional Showroom Lead at our Scottsdale location is Lia Flores and the Assistant Showroom Manager is Renee Pomatto. Lia and Renee shared their insights with us about what makes the Scottsdale Arizona Tile showroom and slab warehouse unique.

Tell us a little bit about your Arizona Tile branch and what sets you apart from other tile stores in your area.

The Scottsdale location is proud of our friendly, helpful staff that all have a great rapport with our regular clientele. We continue our tradition of excellent service with the new customers who walk in our doors for the first time. Our employees have an outstanding appreciation of teamwork, and each person on our staff has exceptional design sensibilities that they use to help our customers choose the surfaces that match their personalities and needs.

What type of product trends have you noticed lately within your area?

Because of their durability and beauty, quartz countertops are still very popular. Our customers are asking for wood-looking tile from our Over series of porcelain tile. They are also requesting the mixing of various materials, such as glass and stone, which has led to a great response to our new Soh Glass/Stone Stack series.  For flooring, customers often want to use rectified porcelain tiles with minimal grout joints, resulting in a nearly seamless surface.

What kind of special orders does your store see?  More slab or tile?  What kind – porcelain, marble, granite, limestone?

Our special orders are as varied as our customers. Our most popular orders are Skylights glasslimestone, and travertine.

Has anyone in your store received an excellent customer service recommendation from any customers?

In July, Cyndee Smalley, one of our Showroom Consultants, received a glowing email from a satisfied customer who wrote, “We loved our experience with you at AZ Tile earlier this month…very helpful and efficient and of course a beautiful showroom to peruse, too!” We love helping our customers, and we look forward to providing unparalleled service in 2013!
