2013 is shaping up to be a colorful year! From emerald green being the Pantone color of 2013 to neon colors pervading fashion, it seems we are craving bright, happy colors.

But what does this mean for home design and the choices you make in your remodel? With tile, there are certainly a few popular trends that should be on your radar.

Nothing is hotter than tile that looks like wood!

Our Misingi tile series is a porcelain product that is made to look just like wood but requires minimal maintenance. In two plank sizes and five colors from light to dark, this product is a great option.

If you are looking for a more modern interpretation, our Over Series shouldn’t be missed. With 40% recycled content, this tile is as “green” as it is beautiful. Over is available in four different sizes and eight colorways that can be combined to create different patterns making this perfectly customizable.

Large scale squares are what is in in 2013. Look for over sized hexagons and rectangles. Subway tiles are still hot, but a larger size is what is in. The Arizona Tile Subway Series is available in a 4” by 12” tile that fits the bill, plus the H-Line Series is another subway tile that is available in 7 colors and two sizes!

Combining Textured Tiles and Mosaics

A trend surely to become a classic is combining textured tiles and mosaic tiles. In this bathroom, our Earth Slate Stackstone mosaic is combined with Crema Marfil Marble and a Earth Slate in a 2” x 2” smaller mosaic on the floor of the shower to create visual interest, texture and warmth.
