Black Pearl Satin is quarried from a bedrock quarry in Andhra Pradesh, India. Arizona Tile also stocks 3/4” and 1-1/4” polished slabs of Black Pearl Polished. This granite will have a fairly consistent grain structure between blocks, but some of the slabs will have larger crystals that are more apparent in the material as opposed to others. Black Pearl is quarried in large blocks, consistently providing slabs of considerable size with little to no variation, making this granite perfect for large projects as well as kitchen countertops.
As a natural stone product, it is recommended that this be sealed to extend its longevity. Natural stone may absorb moisture during fabrication and from installation materials. Therefore, it is recommended that sealing should be done after the stone has fully dried to ensure proper sealer absorption, and prior to consumer use. Drying time will vary depending on the stone, as well as the temperature and humidity level. After sealing, allow it to cure completely. Arizona Tile suggests using a solvent-based impregnating sealer for the initial sealing.
