Meteor Shower Satin

Meteor Shower Satin is quarried from a bedrock quarry in Minas Gerais, Brazil. The blocks are cut to show a three dimensional look which is unique and different from any granite in the market. The slabs are brushed, which give them the satin finish and adds to the 3-D look. Due to the qualities of the stone, the slabs are book- matched; meaning slab one and slab two will be cut and brushed to create a mirror image of each other. These are then kept in sequence, which allows for a consistent flow in pattern. As a natural stone product, it is recommended that it be sealed to extend its longevity.

A factory applied enhancer was used to darken this granite, once it wears off the true color tone will show which is a light grey tone. If you want to keep the darker look please apply 511 Seal & Enhance before installation and re-apply every 6 to 8 months or as needed.

As a natural stone product, it is recommended that this be sealed to extend its longevity. Natural stone may absorb moisture during fabrication and from installation materials. Therefore, it is recommended that sealing should be done after the stone has fully dried to ensure proper sealer absorption, and prior to consumer use. Drying time will vary depending on the stone, as well as the temperature and humidity level. After sealing, allow it to cure completely. Arizona Tile suggests using a solvent-based impregnating sealer for the initial sealing.
